Project Ramsis
Play as a big skeleton, protecting his treasure from a would-be hero.
Default Controls: WASD to move. K to attack vertically. L to attack horizontally. J to perform a defensive slap. I to perform a finishing grab. Gamepad compatible. You can change your controls in the options menu.
How to play: Watch the knight's movements. He will be prepared to counter one of your sword attacks, telegraphed by how he approaches you. Choose the correct sword attack at the right time to damage him. Slap him away if he gets too close. Once he is out of HP, grab him.
Developer's note: this was a practice project, created by Jonathan B. Miller (ZIG Trinity), used to practice 3D modeling, rigging and animation in Blender, exporting and importing those assets into Godot, VFX, Cinematics, Realtime combat, physics, among other things in Godot. The goal was a small, achievable, cinematic fight scene between Ramsis, the skeleton, and a Knight.
What's left to do:
- Pause menu (Resume, Restart, Quit to Menu Menu).
Might also do:
- How to play instructions in-game. Maybe a short tutorial.
- Scoring system (Time and Damage taken).
- Leaderboards (Best scores are listed for the world to see).
- Free Steam release. Integrate Leaderboards with Steam's community tools.
